‘Urban Heart’

Some paintings are planned.

Others have a way of finding themselves.

This original mixed media work on paper was built layer by layer, allowing every mark, scratch, color, and texture to become part of its story. There wasn’t a roadmap. There was only intuition, movement, and the willingness to let the work evolve naturally.

If you spend time with it, you’ll notice fragments of emotion woven throughout the surface. Hints of love. Echoes of memory. Chaos giving way to moments of clarity. A vibrant yellow heart emerges from the composition, not as the subject, but as a reminder that even in life’s most complicated moments, something meaningful can still shine through.

I love creating work that doesn’t tell viewers what to think. Instead, it invites them to discover something personal. Every person who stands in front of this piece will find a different story, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about abstract expression.

This painting represents the beauty of imperfection, the accumulation of experience, and the courage to keep creating even when the next brushstroke is uncertain. It’s energetic, layered, imperfect, and alive, much like the journey that inspires it.

As a working artist, every original piece I create is one of a kind. There are no reproductions of the process, no duplicate moments, and no second original. Once it finds its collector, it becomes part of someone else’s story while remaining forever connected to mine.
