From the artist. – Zae read an article about Asian Armor being made out of paper. This really caught his attention. Baffled by the concept and the story of the strength, he began to research. He saw an episode of Mythbusters on this subject. Mythbusters tested metal armor against paper armor. Not only was the paper armor lighter, it was stronger. Ideas were circulating, he knew he had to do some project with paper. His thought was about a reoccurring theme in his work * LOVE *. Something not easy to understand. He thought Armor and Love. Perfect Love is dangerous, and paper armor is strong, actually stronger then metal. Next he thought why do a 2D heart why not a 3D heart. The process began. with trial and error he developed his first 3D hearts. It took many tries to come up with this proprietary process. Finally he had it. He went through painful lengths to make the first 5 hearts 100% organic. A gift to the earth. The first 5 are SOLD. This one is sold and is 100% organic – private collection.
